Un total de 37 oficiales de cumplimiento de Gauselmann Group se reunieron recientemente en el centro de capacitación Schloss Benkhausen de la compañía en su sede de Espelkamp para un taller conjunto. El evento de dos días se centró en el número cada vez mayor de leyes y reglamentos en todo el mundo, fuentes de derecho para evitar riesgos, así como nuevos cursos de acción para los muchos mercados del Grupo Gauselmann que opera internacionalmente.
Los participantes de 12 naciones se reunieron en el castillo para ponerse al día sobre una amplia gama de temas en presentaciones y grupos de trabajo. Desde la gestión de riesgos y los crecientes requisitos de ESG hasta el sistema de denuncias para denunciar infracciones de cumplimiento, muchos de los desafíos actuales para el grupo corporativo estaban en la agenda.
Otros temas, como la ley alemana de diligencia debida en la cadena de suministro, las normas que rigen la protección de los derechos humanos, así como la protección de los jugadores y las medidas de juego responsable, también suscitaron gran interés entre los participantes del taller.

Al taller asistieron responsables de cumplimiento de Alemania, España, Croacia, Austria, Serbia, Bélgica, Bulgaria, Malta, Reino Unido, Dinamarca, México y Perú. Este fue el quinto taller de este tipo desde la introducción de un sistema de gestión de cumplimiento en todo el grupo en 2014.

A total of 37 Gauselmann Group compliance officers recently came together at the company’s Schloss Benkhausen training centre at its Espelkamp headquarters for a joint workshop. The two-day event focused on the constantly growing number of laws and regulations worldwide, sources of law for the avoidance of risks, as well as new courses of action for the many markets of the internationally operating Gauselmann Group.
The participants from 12 nations convened at the castle to bring each other up to date on a diverse range of topics in presentations and working groups. From risk management and the growing ESG requirements to the whistleblower system for reporting compliance violations, many current challenges for the corporate group were on the agenda.
Additional topics such as the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, regulations governing the protection of human rights, as well as player protection and responsible gaming measures also met with keen interest among the workshop participants.

The workshop was attended by compliance managers from Germany, Spain, Croatia, Austria, Serbia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Malta, the UK, Denmark, Mexico and Peru. This was the fifth workshop of its kind since introduction of a group-wide compliance management system in 2014.
