SBC Summit presentó los Regulatory Gaming Meetups, una nueva iniciativa de networking que conectará a los asistentes con reguladores, expertos del mercado y líderes de la industria de más de 20 jurisdicciones del juego durante la edición 2026 del evento en Lisboa.
Los encuentros se realizarán del 29 de septiembre al 1 de octubre en el Regulatory Gaming Meetup Lounge (F4-17) y brindarán a los participantes la oportunidad de debatir sobre la evolución de los mercados, cambios regulatorios, requisitos de cumplimiento y oportunidades de negocio junto a expertos y actores clave que operan bajo los mismos marcos regulatorios.
Las sesiones estarán organizadas por jurisdicción y región, permitiendo a los asistentes concentrarse en los mercados más relevantes para sus intereses comerciales.
Los encuentros regionales analizarán los cambios regulatorios, la evolución del mercado y las oportunidades de crecimiento que están definiendo la industria del juego en regiones como Eurasia, América Latina, África, Asia, Norteamérica y distintas zonas de Europa, entre ellas los Balcanes, Europa Central y del Este (CEE) y los países nórdicos y bálticos.
Como complemento, el programa dedicará un espacio especial al diverso panorama regulatorio europeo, con sesiones específicas sobre Italia, Malta, Finlandia, Portugal, España, Francia, Alemania y la región DACH, Reino Unido e Irlanda, Grecia y Chipre, además de Países Bajos y Bélgica.
Asimismo, también se celebrarán encuentros dedicados a Emiratos Árabes Unidos, Curazao e India, ofreciendo una visión más profunda de algunos de los entornos regulatorios más observados por la industria.
Expertos y reguladores liderarán los encuentros
Cada Regulatory Gaming Meetup será moderado por reguladores, asociaciones del sector y especialistas con experiencia directa en las jurisdicciones abordadas, con el objetivo de mantener conversaciones prácticas y enfocadas en cada mercado.

Los Regulatory Gaming Meetups representan una de las primeras iniciativas surgidas de la nueva alianza entre la International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) y la International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL). Juntas, las organizaciones buscan ampliar el acceso a conocimiento regulatorio mediante programas educativos y actividades de networking dentro del portafolio global de eventos de SBC.
La iniciativa forma parte de una estrategia más amplia para ofrecer espacios de networking más estructurados y especializados durante el SBC Summit. Además de estos encuentros, el evento incluirá formatos como speed networking y recorridos guiados por la zona de exhibición, experiencias que fueron implementadas con éxito durante SBC Summit Americas a comienzos de este año.
Conferencias centradas en regulación y cumplimiento
Además de los Regulatory Gaming Meetups, los asistentes podrán profundizar en los principales desafíos regulatorios a través del programa de conferencias, distribuido en dos escenarios temáticos:
- Global & Emerging Markets Stage, dedicado a analizar las tendencias comerciales, operativas y regulatorias de los mercados globales, con jornadas enfocadas en mercados emergentes, Europa Occidental y América Latina.
- Regulation & Compliance Stage, centrado en regulación internacional, protección del jugador y tecnologías de cumplimiento, incluyendo el Player Protection Symposium y sesiones especializadas sobre compliance tecnológico.
El SBC Summit 2026 se celebrará del 29 de septiembre al 1 de octubre en la Feira Internacional de Lisboa y el MEO Arena, donde se espera la participación de 40.000 profesionales de la industria durante tres días de exposición, conferencias y networking.

SBC Summit Gives Delegates Direct Access to Regulators Through New Regulatory Gaming Meetups
SBC Summit has launched the Regulatory Gaming Meetups, a new networking initiative that will connect delegates with regulators, market experts, and industry leaders from more than 20 gaming jurisdictions during its 2026 event in Lisbon.
Taking place each day at the Regulatory Gaming Meetup Lounge (F4-17) from 29 September to 1 October, the meetups will provide attendees with the opportunity to discuss market developments, regulatory changes, compliance requirements, and business opportunities with experts and stakeholders operating within the same markets and regulatory environments.
Sessions will be organised by jurisdiction and region, allowing attendees to focus on the markets most relevant to their business interests.
Regional sessions will examine the policy changes, market developments, and growth opportunities shaping gaming businesses across key global markets, including Eurasia, Latin America, Africa, Asia, North America, and European regions such as the Balkans, Central & Eastern Europe (CEE), and the Nordics & Baltics.
Complementing the regional discussions, the programme places a particular focus on Europe’s diverse regulatory landscape, with dedicated sessions covering Italy, Malta, Finland, Portugal, Spain, France, Germany & DACH, the UK & Ireland, Greece & Cyprus, and the Netherlands & Belgium.
Alongside its European market focus, the programme will also feature dedicated sessions on the Emirates, Curaçao, and India, providing further insights into some of the industry’s most closely watched regulatory environments.
To ensure discussions remain practical and market-specific, each Regulatory Gaming Meet Up will be hosted by regulators, industry associations, and subject-matter experts with direct experience of the jurisdictions being explored.

Together, the organisations are working to expand access to regulatory expertise through a series of educational and networking initiatives across SBC’s global portfolio.
The Regulatory Gaming Meet Ups form part of SBC Summit’s broader investment in more structured and targeted networking opportunities for its attendees. Alongside this new initiative, the event will feature additional curated experiences and formats such as speed networking and guided show floor tours, both of which were successfully trialled at SBC Summit Americas earlier this year.
In addition to the Regulatory Gaming Meet Ups, attendees will be able to explore regulatory developments through SBC Summit’s conference programme.
