SBC anunció oficialmente la lista de nominados para la 13.ª edición de los SBC Awards, cuya ceremonia se celebrará el jueves 1 de octubre en el MEO Arena de Lisboa, como cierre del SBC Summit 2026.
El evento reunirá a 1.200 profesionales de la industria y entregará 38 premios que reconocerán los logros más destacados del sector global de las apuestas y el juego en categorías que abarcan operadores, proveedores, pagos, cumplimiento normativo, marketing, plataformas y datos.
La empresa Kanggiten lidera la lista de nominaciones de este año con nueve candidaturas, seguida por Betsson Group y Sportradar, que obtuvieron siete nominaciones cada una.
Entre los demás nominados destacados figuran Kaizen Gaming, con seis nominaciones, mientras que BetConstruct AI, Evoplay, GR8 TECH, Playtech y Soft2Bet recibieron cinco nominaciones cada uno.

Operadores en busca de nuevos reconocimientos
En las categorías dirigidas a operadores, Kaizen Gaming intentará conquistar por tercer año consecutivo el premio Operator of the Year – Large, enfrentándose a compañías como Codere Online, LeoVegas Group y Megapari.
Por su parte, Betsson Group buscará revalidar el título de Casino Operator of the Year, mientras que 1xBet y NOVIBET vuelven a figurar entre los finalistas en las categorías Marketing Campaign of the Year e Innovation in Casino & Gaming Entertainment, respectivamente.
Este año también se entregarán premios independientes al Employer of the Year para operadores y proveedores. En la categoría de proveedores aparecen empresas como SOFTSWISS, actual ganadora, junto con Alea, BETBY, GR8 TECH y Playtech. Entre los operadores nominados destacan Allwyn Hellas, Bally’s y Parimatch.
El esperado premio Leader of the Year se mantendrá en secreto hasta la ceremonia, cuando el ganador será anunciado en directo.
Pagos, cumplimiento y tecnología
En las categorías de pagos y cumplimiento normativo, GeoComply intentará conservar el premio Fraud & Compliance Solution of the Year.
Asimismo, PayPal, Trustly, Worldpay y Yaspa competirán por el reconocimiento a Payment Solution of the Year, mientras que MiFinity, OKTO Payments, Pay4Fun y Paysecure figuran entre los finalistas de Payment Innovation of the Year.
Las categorías destinadas a proveedores comprenderán 22 premios, que abarcan contenido de casino, tecnología para apuestas deportivas, datos, plataformas, marketing y adquisición de jugadores.
En este apartado, Sportradar buscará repetir su éxito en las categorías Sports Data Product y Land-Based Betting & Gaming Product, mientras que Optimove intentará retener los premios Marketing & Services Provider of the Year y Acquisition & Retention Partner.
Por su parte, GR8 TECH defenderá el título de Platform Provider of the Year frente a competidores como EveryMatrix, Playtech, Soft2Bet, SOFTSWISS, Sportingtech y Sportradar.
La ceremonia también volverá a reconocer a las empresas emergentes de la industria mediante cuatro premios Rising Star, que abarcan las áreas de casino, apuestas deportivas e innovación en software.
También habrá espacio para el sector de afiliados
Los interesados en el negocio de afiliación también podrán asistir a los Affiliate Leaders Awards, que se celebrarán el miércoles 30 de septiembre en el MEO Arena. La ceremonia reconocerá a las empresas, campañas, tecnologías y profesionales que impulsan el desarrollo del marketing de afiliación y del performance marketing.

Meet the Nominees: SBC Awards 2026 Shortlist Revealed
SBC has officially announced the shortlisted nominees for the 13th edition of the SBC Awards, set to take place at Lisbon’s MEO Arena on Thursday, 1 October, bringing the curtain down on SBC Summit 2026.
The ceremony will bring together 1,200 industry professionals and present 38 awards recognising outstanding achievements across the global betting and gaming industry, covering operators, suppliers, payments, compliance, marketing, platforms, and data.
Kanggiten leads this year’s shortlist with nine nominations, followed by Betsson Group and Sportradar, each receiving seven nominations.
Other notable nominees include Kaizen Gaming with six nominations, while BetConstruct AI, Evoplay, GR8 TECH, Playtech, and Soft2Bet have each secured five nominations.

Operators aim for another year of success
In the operator categories, Kaizen Gaming will look to secure a third consecutive Operator of the Year – Large title, competing against companies including Codere Online, LeoVegas Group, and Megapari.
Meanwhile, Betsson Group returns to defend its Casino Operator of the Year title, while 1xBet and NOVIBET have once again been shortlisted for Marketing Campaign of the Year and Innovation in Casino & Gaming Entertainment, respectively.
This year will also feature separate Employer of the Year awards for operators and suppliers. The supplier shortlist includes reigning champion SOFTSWISS, alongside Alea, BETBY, GR8 TECH, and Playtech. Operator nominees include Allwyn Hellas, Bally’s, and Parimatch.
The highly anticipated Leader of the Year award will remain under wraps until the ceremony, when the winner will be revealed live on stage.
Payments, compliance, and technology
In the payments and compliance categories, GeoComply will attempt to retain its Fraud & Compliance Solution of the Year title.

A dedicated celebration for affiliates
Those interested in the affiliate sector can also attend the Affiliate Leaders Awards, taking place at the MEO Arena on Wednesday, 30 September. The ceremony will honour the companies, campaigns, technologies, and individuals driving progress in affiliate and performance marketing.
