From SBC Lisbon to Latin America: ProntoPaga connected the global payments conversation with the region
ProntoPaga wrapped up its participation at SBC Summit Lisbon 2026 by connecting global discussions around payments with a region that is especially relevant to the company: Latin America.
From September 29 to October 1, ProntoPaga took part in an edition that brought together more than 40,000 professionals from over 150 countries, making it the largest turnout since SBC moved its flagship event to Lisbon.
This year’s agenda also gave dedicated space to Latin America, with content focused on Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador and Chile. For ProntoPaga, the event once again highlighted a defining characteristic of the region: while Latin America shares significant growth opportunities, each country is evolving under different regulatory, operational and commercial conditions.
From a global conversation to a regional reality
Some of these topics were also discussed at the Payment Expert Summit, where Elisa Jordán, Co-Founder & Chief of Customer Growth at ProntoPaga, joined the panel “Solving Payments at Scale in Regulated Markets”.
The session covered payment performance, local payment methods, smart routing and faster payouts, with a focus on how companies can maintain efficient operations as they expand across different regulatory environments.
Representing ProntoPaga, Elisa brought to the discussion the perspective of a company operating across Latin America and familiar with the specific characteristics of its different markets.
ProntoPaga was also present on the exhibition floor
Throughout the three-day event, the ProntoPaga team welcomed operators, partners and other industry stakeholders at booth E223, complementing its participation in the content agenda with direct meetings on the exhibition floor.
The experience in Lisbon allowed ProntoPaga to combine both spaces, bringing its regional expertise to an international setting while continuing to build relationships with companies exploring new opportunities across Latin America.
