SiGMA Group ha anunciado la decisión de posponer su evento de 2021, SiGMA Europe. La exposición, que estaba programada para tener lugar en Malta del 16 al 18 de febrero, abrirá ahora sus puertas a mediados de abril, del 13 al 15.
El cambio de fechas sigue a la aprobación de la Agencia Reguladora de Medicamentos y Productos Sanitarios del Reino Unido para comenzar a administrar la primera vacuna contra el COVID-19 del mundo aprobada clínicamente a principios de diciembre. Los delegados del Reino Unido constituyen uno de los grupos más grandes que asisten al evento de SiGMA Group celebrado en Europa.
“El lanzamiento temprano de la vacuna de Pfizer BioNTech nos hace tener la esperanza de que ahora se reanude la sensación de normalidad en los próximos cuatro meses. Nuestra reciente exposición virtual fue un gran éxito, pero ahora esperamos continuar construyendo estas relaciones en persona mientras nos lanzamos a lo que parece ser un año muy emocionante”, comentó el fundador de SiGMA Group, Eman Pulis.
El ministro de Economía de Malta, Silvio Schembri, expresó recientemente su confianza en que la economía del país no solo se mantendrá a flote sino que experimentará un crecimiento el próximo año: “Tenemos que mirar hacia adelante, esta pandemia pasará. Tenemos que mirar hacia adelante y estoy convencido de que no solo nos mantendremos a flote. El año que viene volveremos a ver crecimiento económico y actividad económica”.

The change of dates follows approval from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency for the UK to begin administering the world’s first clinically approved vaccine in early December. UK delegates make up one of the largest groups to attend SiGMA Group’s Europe-held event.
“The early release of the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine makes us hopeful that a sense of normality will now resume within the next four months. Our recent virtual expo was a huge success, but we hope to now continue building these relationships in person as we launch into what looks set to be a very exciting year,” said Founder of SiGMA Group, Eman Pulis.
Malta’s Minister for the Economy, Silvio Schembri, recently expressed his confidence that the Maltese economy will not only keep afloat but will experience growth next year: “We need to look ahead – this pandemic will pass. We need to look forward and I am convinced that we will not just be keeping afloat. Next year we will be seeing economic growth and economic activity again.”
