Aristocrat Leisure Limited (Aristocrat) ha anunciado que ha acordado adquirir Awager Ltd (Awager), de fondos gestionados por Oaktree Capital Management, LP («Oaktree»), por una suma no revelada, sujeta a la obtención de las aprobaciones regulatorias previas.
Awager es un proveedor líder en el segmento de streaming de tragamonedas en vivo, un segmento emergente y regulado.
Awager ofrece a los operadores de juegos un nuevo canal digital para atraer y entretener a los jugadores, ofreciendo una auténtica experiencia de juego de casino en tiempo real gracias a una cartera de contenido de terceros. Gracias a su tecnología innovadora y a acuerdos de distribución exclusivos con las principales plataformas de iGaming, Awager ya es el líder indiscutible del mercado en EE. UU., con un importante potencial de crecimiento gracias al contenido premium de Aristocrat y a las redes de distribución tras la adquisición. La adquisición de Awager aportará nuevas capacidades en línea con nuestra estrategia.
Awager tiene su sede en Israel y cuenta con unos 75 empleados repartidos por Israel, Europa del Este y EE. UU. Se espera que la transacción se cierre en los próximos meses.

Aristocrat announces agreement to acquire Awager Ltd
Aristocrat Leisure Limited (Aristocrat) has announced that it has agreed to acquire Awager Ltd (Awager), from funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. («Oaktree»), for an undisclosed sum, subject to the receipt of regulatory pre-approvals.
Awager is a leading provider in the fast-emerging and regulated Live Slot Streaming segment.
Awager offers gaming operators a new digital channel to engage and entertain players, delivering a genuine, real-time casino gameplay experience leveraging a portfolio of third-party content. With innovative technology and exclusive distribution agreements with top iGaming platforms, Awager is already the clear market leader in the US, with significant scope for growth with the benefit of premium Aristocrat content and distribution networks, post-acquisition. The acquisition of Awager will bring new capabilities in line with our strategy.
Awager is headquartered in Israel, with around 75 employees based across Israel, Eastern Europe and the US. The transaction is currently expected to close in the coming months.
