Betsson Group celebró un triple éxito y resguardó el prestigioso título de “Operador de Casino del Año” durante la ceremonia de los SBC Awards 2022 en el Palau National de Barcelona. Además del reconocimiento por sus ofertas de casino, la compañía también recibió el título de “Mejor programa de afiliados del año” y recibió el premio “Operador del año de Europa occidental”, recientemente presentado.
El ganador del “Operador de apuestas deportivas del año” del año pasado, Bet365, también logró mantener el trono después de obtener una victoria en una de las categorías más disputadas de la noche.
La novena edición de los SBC Awards fue organizada conjuntamente por la presentadora de noticias y deportes, Kirsty Gallacher, y la ex estrella de Valencia, Lazio, Barcelona y Middlesbrough, Gaizka Mendieta. Los ganadores de las 45 categorías de operadores, afiliados, proveedores y pagos se anunciaron frente a 800 ejecutivos sénior de la industria de apuestas deportivas e iGaming.

Los ganadores en la sección de operadores de los premios también incluyeron a Coolbet («Operador del año de Europa del Norte»), Kaizen Gaming («Operador del año de Europa del Sur») y Parimatch Ucrania («Operador del año de Europa del Este»). Betway Group amplió su dominio en la categoría «Operador de deportes electrónicos del año».
La sección de afiliados vio a tres empresas salir victoriosas. Raketech Group se llevó a casa el premio «Innovación de productos afiliados del año», repitiendo su éxito de 2021. Gambling.com ganó el trofeo de «Afiliado de casino del año», y Better Collective también se mantuvo firme al obtener el premio «Afiliado de deportes del año» dos años seguidos.
En la sección de proveedores de los premios, el título de «Proveedor de apuestas deportivas del año», muy disputado, fue para Sportradar Group, y el premio «Desarrollador de casinos/tragamonedas del año» fue para Relax Gaming. También hubo victorias para Pinnacle («Proveedor de eSports del año»), OpenBet («Producto de juegos y apuestas en tierra»), Evolution («Proveedor de casino en vivo») y Playtech («Proveedor de plataforma del año»).
Pasando a las estrellas en ascenso, Uplatform recibió el trofeo «Estrella en ascenso en innovación/software de apuestas deportivas», mientras que PopOk Gaming ganó el premio «Estrella en ascenso en innovación/software de casino».

La ceremonia también honró no a uno sino a dos líderes de la compañía, ya que David Flynn de Glitnor Group y Katerina Biloruska de Parimatch Foundation recibieron el premio «Líder del año».

The winners of the 45 operator, affiliate, supplier and payment categories were announced in front of 800 senior sports betting and iGaming industry executives.
Betsson Group celebrated a triple success and safeguarded the prestigious “Casino Operator of the Year” title during the SBC Awards 2022 ceremony at Palau National in Barcelona. Apart from recognition for its casino offerings, the company was also awarded the “Best Affiliate Program of the Year” title and received the newly-introduced “Western European Operator of the Year” award.
Last year’s “Sportsbook Operator of the Year” winner, Bet365, also managed to hold the throne after they secured a win in one of the most contested categories of the night.
The ninth edition of the SBC Awards was co-hosted by the news and sports broadcaster Kirsty Gallacher and former Valencia, Lazio, Barcelona and Middlesbrough star Gaizka Mendieta. The winners of the 45 operator, affiliate, supplier and payment categories were announced in front of 800 senior sports betting and iGaming industry executives.

The affiliate section saw three companies coming out victorious. Raketech Group took home the “Affiliate Product Innovation of the Year” award, repeating its 2021 success. Gambling.com won the “Casino Affiliate of the Year” trophy, and Better Collective also stood its ground by securing the “Sports Affiliate of the Year” award two years in a row.
In the supplier section of the awards, the fiercely contested “Sportsbook Supplier of the Year” title went to Sportradar Group, and the “Casino/Slots Developer of the Year” award went to Relax Gaming. There were also victories for Pinnacle (“eSports Supplier of the Year”), OpenBet (“Land-based Betting & Gaming Product”), Evolution (“Live Casino Supplier”), and Playtech (“Platform Provider of the Year”).
Moving onto the rising stars, Uplatform was awarded the “Rising Star in Sports Betting Innovation/Software” trophy, while PopOk Gaming won the “Rising Star in Casino Innovation/Software” award.
In the four payment categories, IDnow was crowned the “Fraud & Compliance Solution of the Year”, and OKTO was recognised as the “Mobile Payment Solution of the Year”. Trustly secured two awards as both the “Payment Innovation of the Year” and the “Payment Solution of the Year”.
The ceremony also honoured not one but two company leaders, as David Flynn from Glitnor Group and Katerina Biloruska from Parimatch Foundation both received the “Leader of the Year” award.
