Después de numerosas cancelaciones por parte de los principales expositores internacionales y debido a la actual situación desafiante creada por el COVID-19 en el Reino Unido y en toda Europa, Novomatic Group tomó la decisión de retirarse de la participación planificada en ICE London 2022.
La Junta Ejecutiva de Novomatic no ha tomado esta decisión a la ligera. Tras las incertidumbres de las últimas semanas y después de un análisis detallado y una evaluación de riesgos, se tomó la decisión de retirarse de la feria por varias razones.
“Múltiples aspectos adversos -entre ellos la pandemia, los desafíos logísticos y, por último, pero no menos importante, la desfavorable e ineludible fecha alternativa- han culminado en una situación en la que ya no es viable participar en el espectáculo”, afirman desde la compañía.
“La situación sigue siendo difícil de evaluar, debido a que la pandemia crea condiciones que continúan impidiendo un viaje seguro, así como una estadía y participación seguras en esta feria de juegos, circunstancias que en última instancia han llevado a varias cancelaciones por parte de los principales expositores y participantes de la feria”, agregó la empresa.
Novomatic considera la salud de sus empleados, así como la de sus clientes y socios, una prioridad máxima y, por lo tanto, ha decidido dar este paso desafortunado pero medido y considerado.
“ICE es una feria comercial clave para toda la industria del juego y Novomatic espera que la cooperación exitosa pueda continuar en condiciones más favorables en 2023”, concluyó la compañía.

The company considers the health of its employees as well as customers and partners a top priority and has therefore decided to take this unfortunate but measured and considered step.
After numerous cancellations by major international show exhibitors and due to the ongoing challenging situation created by COVID in the UK and across Europe, the Novomatic Group has taken the decision to withdraw from the planned participation at ICE 2022.
The Novomatic Executive Board has not taken this decision lightly. Following the recent weeks’ uncertainties and after detailed analysis and risk assessment, the decision has been taken to withdraw from ICE 2022 for various reasons.
“A multitude of adverse aspects – including the pandemic, logistical challenges and, last but not least, the unfavourable and unavoidable alternative date – have culminated in a situation in which participating in the show is no longer viable,” stated the company.
“The situation remains difficult to assess, due to the pandemic creating conditions that continue to prevent safe travel as well as a safe stay and participation at this gaming show – circumstances that have ultimately led to several cancellations by leading show exhibitors and participants”, added the company.
