¿Qué novedades se mostraron en el stand de Yggdrasil durante ICE London 2022?
Yggdrasil fue a ICE reforzando por completo la presencia de nuestra marca en la escena de la feria comercial con otro stand increíble. Teníamos muchas ganas de reunirnos con socios nuevos y existentes, y colegas de la industria para mostrar nuestros nuevos productos innovadores y discutir nuevas oportunidades y tendencias estratégicas. Siempre salimos de ICE llenos de energía positiva, así que estábamos emocionados de estar de regreso con toda su fuerza.
Nuestra popular cartera de GEM (Game Engagement Mechanics) está en continua expansión y ahora incluye ocho mecánicas de alto rendimiento que han demostrado un rendimiento muy sólido en los juegos. Los GEM ocuparon un lugar central en ICE y nos entusiasmó hablar sobre su potencial para llevar la experiencia del jugador al siguiente nivel de emoción y participación.
En la feria, nuestra hoja de ruta para 2023 y nuestras bien establecidas herramientas Boost también estuvieron al frente y al centro. Además de eso, mostramos una serie de nuevos juegos emocionantes. Hace unos días, Yggdrasil recibió la aprobación regulatoria en la ciudad de Buenos Aires. ¿Qué opina del mercado argentino y qué otras jurisdicciones del país están investigando?
La nueva licencia es un gran hito para nosotros. Argentina como país, y América Latina como continente, ofrece un enorme potencial. Como jurisdicción de iGaming, con una población de más de 45 millones, es comparable en tamaño a Colombia, donde debutamos el año pasado. Nuestros juegos han sido bien recibidos por jugadores de todo el mundo y anticipamos que Argentina no será diferente.
La empresa celebra su décimo aniversario en 2023. ¿Podría contarnos más sobre la estrategia de crecimiento de Yggdrasil para este año histórico?
Comenzar el año con ICE es un gran momento para nuestra empresa, ya que estamos celebrando nuestro décimo aniversario. Además de la evolución y el crecimiento de Yggdrasil como empresa, la industria se ha desarrollado considerablemente y la competencia se ha vuelto feroz. Nuestra misión siempre ha sido un claro enfoque en la innovación, acelerando el crecimiento en los mercados regulados y brindando soluciones de juego en línea de clase mundial.

Hace unos días, Yggdrasil y Reflex Gaming presentaron su última colaboración: Double Lucky Mushrooms DoubleMax. ¿Cuáles son las principales características de este juego?
Nuestra creación de YG Masters, Double Lucky Mushrooms DoubleMax, toma el tema irlandés enormemente popular que prevalece en toda la industria y lo mejora con la adición de uno de nuestros icónicos GEM. En el juego base, Wild Clovers puede expandirse para llenar toda la columna del carrete, lo que aumenta significativamente el potencial de ganancias, mientras que Mushrooms puede revelar símbolos misteriosos en todo momento. What novelties were shown at Yggdrasil’s stand during ICE London 2022?
Yggdrasil went to ICE fully reinforcing our brand presence on the trade show scene with another amazing stand. We much looked forward to meeting with new and existing partners, and industry colleagues to showcase our new innovative products and to discuss new strategic opportunities and trends. We always leave ICE full of positive energy, so we were excited to be back in full force.
Our popular GEMs (Game Engagement Mechanics) portfolio is ongoing expanding and now includes eight high-performing mechanics which has shown very strong games performance. The GEMs took centre stage at ICE, and we were excited to talk about their potential to take the player experience to the next level of excitement and engagement.
At the show, our roadmap for 2023 and our well-established Boost tools were also front and centre. Adding to that, we showcased a number of new thrilling games. We just launched Neon Villains DoubleMax where players will be tasked with avoiding detection as they venture through the city in search of the riches within the Vault.
A few days ago, Yggdrasil received regulatory approval in the City of Buenos Aires. What do you think about the Argentinian market and what other jurisdictions of the country are you looking into?
The new licence is a great milestone for us. Argentina as a country, and Latin America as a continent, offers huge potential. As an iGaming jurisdiction, with a population of more than 45 million, it’s comparable in size to Colombia, where we made our debut last year. Our games have been well received by players across the world, and we’re anticipating Argentina will be no different.
The company is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2023. Could you tell us more about Yggdrasil’s growth strategy for this milestone year?
Starting the year with ICE is a great timing for our company as we are celebrating our 10-year anniversary. Part from Yggdrasil evolving and growing as a company, the industry has developed considerably, and competition has grown fierce. Our mission has always been a clear focus on innovation, accelerating growth in regulated markets and delivering world-class online gambling solutions.
We will continue to expand our offering globally, bringing more innovative content to the market and keeping players engaged and excited. We look forward to another exciting chapter in our journey and to continue disrupting the industry for many years ahead.
A few days ago, Yggdrasil and Reflex Gaming presented their latest collaboration: Double Lucky Mushrooms DoubleMax. What are the main characteristics of this game?
Our YG Masters creation, Double Lucky Mushrooms DoubleMax takes the hugely popular Irish theme prevalent across the industry and supercharges it with the addition of one of our iconic GEMs. In base play, Wild Clovers can expand to fill the entire reel column, significantly increasing win potential, while Mushrooms can reveal mystery symbols throughout. Every time a Lady Luck appears, the DoubleMax mechanic is activated, while we also have a lucky dip-style bonus through the Wishing Well. There’s plenty for players to enjoy, and we’re really pleased with its performance so far.
