SBC ha anunciado oficialmente a los nominados preseleccionados para la 12.ª edición de los SBC Awards, que se celebrarán en el MEO Arena de Lisboa el jueves 18 de septiembre, durante el último día del SBC Summit 2025.
Celebrando la excelencia en la industria global de las apuestas y el juego, la ceremonia destacará los logros más sobresalientes de operadores, líderes del sector y proveedores en un amplio espectro de áreas, incluyendo pagos, marketing e innovación en plataformas.
La edición de este año ya ha batido récords, con la mayor cantidad de nominaciones jamás recibidas en sus 37 diversas categorías, lo que refleja el creciente compromiso de la industria con ofrecer un rendimiento excepcional.
Encabezando la lista de nominados están Pragmatic Play y Sportradar, con siete nominaciones cada uno. Les siguen de cerca BetConstruct y Betsson Group, con seis nominaciones cada uno. Otros nominados destacados incluyen Bragg Gaming, Campeon Gaming, Novibet, Playtech y Top Bet, cada uno con cinco nominaciones.
Regresa como copresentador de la ceremonia la leyenda del fútbol Peter Schmeichel, exarquero del Manchester United y campeón de la Eurocopa de la UEFA, quien ya aportó su carisma característico al escenario en 2024.
La edición 2025 de los SBC Awards también marcará el primer año sin categorías dedicadas exclusivamente a afiliados. En su lugar, SBC organizará una ceremonia independiente y ampliada llamada Affiliate Leaders Awards, el miércoles 17 de septiembre, en el mismo recinto.
Comentando sobre la próxima ceremonia de los SBC Awards, Rasmus Sojmark, fundador y CEO de SBC, declaró:

En las categorías de operadores, además de las notables seis nominaciones del Betsson Group, TotoGaming también destaca con cuatro nominaciones, incluyendo Campaña de Marketing del Año e Innovación en Entretenimiento de Casino y Juegos. Por su parte, Kaizen Gaming y Campeón Gaming regresan para defender sus títulos en las categorías Operador del Año – Mediano y Grande, respectivamente.
La muy disputada categoría de Operador de Casino del Año incluye nombres como LeoVegas, Bally’s, Codere Online y Winbet. 1xBet, EstrelaBet y Sportsbet.io están entre los favoritos a Operador de Apuestas Deportivas del Año.
En las categorías de operadores y proveedores, la competencia por el título de Empleador del Año incluye a Alea, Flutter Entertainment, Parimatch y Play’n GO, todos con el objetivo de destronar a los actuales campeones, SOFTSWISS. La categoría de Iniciativa Socialmente Responsable del Año incluye nominados como la Associação de Mulheres da Indústria do Gaming (AMIG), BGaming, EveryMatrix y Pay4Fun.

Las categorías para proveedores, que abarcarán 22 premios, incluirán varias incorporaciones nuevas este año, como Agregador del Año y Crash Game del Año.
Fast Track y BETBY buscarán retener sus títulos como Socio en Adquisición y Retención y Proveedor de eSports del Año, respectivamente. Por su parte, Delasport, Evolution, Evoplay, iGP, Optimove y Spotlight Sports Group están entre las quince empresas que compiten por el premio a Innovación del Año en la Industria.

Peter Schmeichel Returns as SBC Awards 2025 Host as Finalists Are Announced
SBC has officially announced the shortlisted nominees for the 12th edition of the SBC Awards, set to take place at Lisbon’s MEO Arena on Thursday, 18 September, the final day of the SBC Summit 2025.
Celebrating excellence across the global betting and gaming industry, the ceremony will highlight the most outstanding achievements from operators, industry leaders, and suppliers across a wide range of areas, including payments, marketing, and platform innovation.
This year’s edition has already broken records, receiving the highest number of nominations ever across its 37 diverse categories, reflecting the industry’s growing commitment to delivering exceptional performance.
Pragmatic Play and Sportradar lead the shortlist with seven nominations each. They are closely followed by BetConstruct and Betsson Group, with six nominations each. Other standout nominees include Bragg Gaming, Campeon Gaming, Novibet, Playtech, and Top Bet, each with five nominations.
Football legend Peter Schmeichel, former Manchester United goalkeeper and UEFA European Championship winner, returns as co-host of the ceremony after bringing his trademark charisma to the stage in 2024.
The 2025 edition of the SBC Awards will also mark the first year without categories dedicated to affiliates. Instead, SBC will host a separate and expanded Affiliate Leaders Awards ceremony on Wednesday, 17 September, at the same venue.

In the operator categories, alongside Betsson Group’s notable six nominations, TotoGaming also stands out with four nominations, including Marketing Campaign of the Year and Innovation in Casino & Gaming Entertainment. Meanwhile, Kaizen Gaming and Campeón Gaming return to defend their titles in the Operator of the Year – Medium and Large categories, respectively.
The highly contested Casino Operator of the Year category includes names such as LeoVegas, Bally’s, Codere Online, and Winbet. 1xBet, EstrelaBet, and Sportsbet.io are among the frontrunners for Sportsbook Operator of the Year.
In the operator and supplier categories, competition for Employer of the Year includes Alea, Flutter Entertainment, Parimatch, and Play’n GO, all aiming to take the crown from reigning champions SOFTSWISS. The Socially Responsible Initiative of the Year category features nominees such as the Associação de Mulheres da Indústria do Gaming (AMIG), BGaming, EveryMatrix, and Pay4Fun.
The highly anticipated Leader of the Year award will be kept under wraps until the night of the event, with both nominees and the winner to be revealed live during the ceremony.
In the payments and compliance categories, Noda and payabl. lead the way with nominations in all three awards: Payment Solution of the Year, Payment Innovation of the Year, and Fraud & Compliance Solution of the Year. MiFinity, Monnet Payments, OKTO, Pay4Fun, Paysecure, and Trustly have also received multiple nominations across the categories.
The supplier categories, spanning 22 awards, will include several new additions this year, such as Aggregator of the Year and Crash Game of the Year.
Fast Track and BETBY will look to retain their titles in the Acquisition & Retention Partner and Esports Supplier of the Year categories, respectively. Meanwhile, Delasport, Evolution, Evoplay, iGP, Optimove, and Spotlight Sports Group are among the fifteen companies competing for the Industry Innovation of the Year award.
Soft2Bet will return in pursuit of back-to-back wins in the Innovation in Casino Entertainment and Innovation in Mobile categories, while Digitain will aim to defend its title as Sportsbook Supplier of the Year.
The coveted Platform Provider of the Year award features a strong field of contenders, including EGT Digital, GiG, GR8 Tech, Sportingtech, and White Hat Gaming.
Reinforcing SBC’s commitment to highlighting the future stars of the industry, the evening will once again feature four Rising Star awards:
