El Ministerio de Deportes de Brasil y Sportradar Group AG (NASDAQ: SRAD) formalizaron hoy un Acuerdo de Cooperación Técnica (ACT) enfocado en proteger la integridad de las apuestas deportivas en el país. La alianza contempla el intercambio de información relacionada con el mercado de apuestas y la implementación de iniciativas conjuntas para combatir el amaño de partidos.

Sportradar brindará apoyo especializado al Ministerio de Deportes de Brasil, incluyendo la notificación de actividades potencialmente sospechosas detectadas por su sistema líder en la industria, el Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS). Además, Sportradar proporcionará capacitación y formación al personal del Ministerio, centradas en buenas prácticas para el monitoreo, identificación e investigación de actividades sospechosas. El primer taller se llevará a cabo el 15 de mayo e incluirá al Ministerio de Hacienda de Brasil, un socio reciente con el que Sportradar también firmó un ACT.

De esta forma, los atletas, clubes, organizaciones, aficionados y toda la población podrán confiar plenamente en la equidad de los resultados y, a su vez, tener la confianza para liberar todo el potencial del deporte brasileño”, declaró André Fufuca, ministro de Deportes de Brasil.

Este ACT se suma al creciente número de alianzas de integridad que Sportradar ha establecido en Brasil, incluyendo acuerdos recientes con la Fiscalía del Estado de Goiás, la Confederación Brasileña de Voleibol (CBV) y la Confederación Brasileña de Fútbol (CBF), así como relaciones existentes con federaciones de fútbol en 17 estados brasileños, creando una sólida red enfocada en proteger la integridad del deporte en el país.

Brazilian Ministry of Sports and Sportradar Partner to Strengthen Sports Integrity in the Region

The Brazilian Ministry of Sports and Sportradar Group AG (NASDAQ: SRAD) today formalized a Technical Cooperation Agreement (ACT) aimed at protecting the integrity of sports betting in the country. The partnership includes the exchange of information related to the betting market and the implementation of joint initiatives to combat match-fixing.

Sportradar will provide specialized support to the Brazilian Ministry of Sports, including reports on potentially suspicious activity detected by its industry-leading Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS). In addition, Sportradar will offer training and education for Ministry staff, focusing on best practices in monitoring, identifying, and investigating suspicious activities. The first workshop will be held on May 15 and will include the Brazilian Ministry of Finance, a recent partner with whom Sportradar also signed an ACT.
