Inspired Entertainment anunció que ha adquirido a Sportech Lotteries. El principal activo de la empresa es el contrato de sistemas de lotería para brindar servicios de lotería online y minorista, así como el próximo lanzamiento de la solución de iLottery a Lotería Electrónica Internacional Dominica de la República Dominicana (LEIDSA).
El contrato actual de sistemas de lotería con LEIDSA estaba programado para ejecutarse hasta el 9 de marzo de 2025. Simultáneamente con el cierre de la adquisición de Sportech Lotteries, Inspired y LEIDSA extendieron el contrato de sistemas de lotería hasta el 9 de marzo de 2035.
Esto marca la primera adquisición de Inspired en el sector de la lotería, diversificando aún más su modelo de negocio a nivel de producto, cliente y geográfico. Se espera que brinde oportunidades de crecimiento adicionales en América del Norte, una geografía estratégica clave para la compañía, refuerce el posicionamiento en el creciente mercado de iLottery y mejore la capacidad para ofrecer una plataforma con una solución completa de lotería/iGaming llave en mano a nuevos clientes en el futuro, con su enfoque multiplataforma.

La compañía adquirió Sportech Lotteries por 12,5 millones de dólares, sujeto a ciertos ajustes habituales y hasta 2 millones de dólares de posibles ganancias adicionales.

The current lottery systems contract with LEIDSA had been scheduled to run until March 9, 2025. Concurrent with closing of the acquisition of Sportech Lotteries, Inspired and LEIDSA extended the lottery systems contract through March 9, 2035.
This marks Inspired’s first acquisition in the lottery sector, further diversifying its business model on a product, customer and geographic level. It is expected to provide additional growth opportunities in North America, a key strategic geography for the company, bolster the company’s positioning in the growing iLottery market and enhance the company’s ability to offer a platform with a full turnkey lottery/iGaming solution to new customers in the future, in line with its cross-platform approach.

The company acquired Sportech Lotteries for US$ 12.5 million on a cash free/debt free basis, subject to certain customary adjustments and up to US$ 2 million of potential additional earnout consideration.
