La edición 2025 de los ICE Landmark Awards, la iniciativa que celebra los logros y éxitos más importantes en la industria del juego a nivel internacional, tuvo lugar en el segundo día de ICE Barcelona. Presentados en el recinto ferial durante el mayor encuentro global de profesionales del sector del juego, los Landmark Awards destacaron eventos clave, logros históricos y contribuciones significativas de organizaciones e individuos influyentes.
El director general de Clarion Gaming, Stuart Hunter, explicó el propósito de estos premios: “Creíamos que había espacio para un programa de premios totalmente original, accesible y abierto a toda la industria, que reconociera hitos o logros realmente significativos.”
“La primera edición de los Landmark Awards en Barcelona cuenta con un elenco excepcional de ganadores, todos ellos con un impacto significativo en la industria. Me complace confirmar que los ganadores de los Landmark Awards 2025 son: EvenBet Gaming (20° aniversario); Win Systems Group (30° aniversario); International Betting Integrity Association (20° aniversario); Novomatic Group (45° aniversario); Aristidis Tsikouras, CEO de GeWeTe (25 años de servicio en el Grupo MERKUR); Pieter Remmers, fundador y presidente de Assissa G4 (35 años dedicados al juego responsable); Tracy Cohen, directora de marketing de TCSJOHNHUXLEY (30 años de trayectoria en la industria); y Jan Jones Blackhurst, miembro de la junta directiva de Caesars Entertainment y CEO-in-residence en el International Gaming Institute de la Universidad de Nevada, Las Vegas (por su liderazgo pionero en la industria del juego, la política y la filantropía).”
Al recibir su Landmark Award, Pieter Remmers comentó: “Estoy muy feliz de recibir este reconocimiento. He estado en este negocio durante mucho tiempo. Si miras mi trayectoria, parece que toda mi carrera ha estado dedicada al juego responsable, así que es muy gratificante que mi trabajo sea reconocido de esta manera.”
Por su parte, Jason Foley-Train, director de Desarrollo Internacional en la International Betting Integrity Association, añadió: “Estamos encantados de recibir este prestigioso Landmark Award de parte de Clarion Gaming. ICE es un pilar fundamental en la industria del juego, y es un honor ser reconocidos por un evento con tanta historia e impacto en el sector.”
Desde su creación en 2019, más de 50 individuos y organizaciones han sido galardonados con un ICE Landmark Award. Entre los premiados se encuentran innovadores, desarrolladores, emprendedores, pioneros y figuras clave que han hecho que la industria global del juego sea verdaderamente única.
Trailblazers recognised at ICE Barcelona as Landmark Award winners announced
The 2025 edition of the ICE Landmark Awards, the initiative which celebrates milestone achievements and successes in international gaming, took place on the middle day of ICE Barcelona. Presented on the show floor during the world’s biggest ever gathering of gambling industry professionals, the Landmark Awards recognised watershed events, milestone achievements and contributions from a cross-section of progressive organisations and individuals.
Explaining the background to the Awards, Stuart Hunter, Managing Director of Clarion Gaming said: “We felt that there was a place for a totally original Awards program which was accessible, open to everyone in the industry and which recognised a very significant milestone or achievement.
“The first edition of the Landmarks to be held in Barcelona represents a stellar line-up of winners all of whom have made a major contribution to the industry. I am delighted to confirm that the 2025 Landmark Award winners are: EvenBet Gaming (20th Anniversary); Win Systems Group(30th Anniversary); International Betting Integrity Association (20th Anniversary); Novomatic Group (45th Anniversary); Aristidis Tsikouras, CEO of GeWeTe (25-years of service with the MERKUR Group); Pieter Remmers, founder-chairman of Assissa G4 (35-years dedicated to responsible gambling); Tracy Cohen, director of marketing at TCSJOHNHUXLEY (30-years’ service to the industry) and Jan Jones Blackhurst, board member at Caesars Entertainment and CEO-in-residence at the International Gaming Institute, University of Nevada Las Vegas (Pioneering leadership in gaming, politics and philanthropy).
Reflecting on his Landmark, Pieter Remmers confirmed: “I’m very happy to receive this award. I’ve been in this business a very long time. When you look at my resumé, it seems like my career has been dedicated to responsible gambling, so it’s very gratifying to have my work recognised in this way.”
Jason Foley-Train, head of International Development at the International Betting Integrity Association added: “We’re delighted to receive this prestigious Landmark Award from Clarion Gaming. ICE is a cornerstone of the gaming industry, and it’s an honour to be recognised by an event with such a rich history and enduring impact.”
