Marcela Briceño, business PR y business development para LATAM en Rushbet, inició la conversación destacando que cada vez hay más mujeres que ocupan cargos directivos a través de todas las industrias, pero que aún queda mucho por hacer.
“En Producciones Leonidas el 90% de las gerencias están ocupadas por mujeres”, contó Marcela Martínez, directora jurídica de la empresa. “Tenemos las mismas capacidades y la misma ilusión que los hombres de ser empresarias y exitosas”, ponderó.
Por su parte, Juana Bischoff, senior business development manager en Oddin.gg, destacó la importancia de la diversidad en el crecimiento empresarial. A la vez, compartió su experiencia personal y dio un consejo importante: “No esperes a estar lista, porque nunca vas a estarlo. Para poder crecer hay que asumir riesgos”, remató.
En la conferencia se habló de la necesidad de trabajar en pos de la igualdad y de continuar los esfuerzos de asociaciones como ASFEJ, enfocadas en abrir puertas para las mujeres del sector.
María Victoria Cabrera, fundadora y actual directora gerente de la Revista Casino Perú contó que la publicación nació justamente de una de esas puertas que no se abrieron.
“Hace 23 años, cuando trabajaba en un períódico, los directores me dijeron que si quería publicar artículos sobre el sector del juego, mejor abriera mi propio periódico”, recordó.
Con el apoyo de apenas dos empresarios del sector, salió la primera edición de la Revista Casino Perú. Hoy la publicación cuenta con el apoyo de decenas de operadores, proveedores y llega a las manos de cientos de profesionales del sector.
