El predio es conocido por su diseño innovador, funcionalidad y por ser la sede del Mobile World Congress, la feria de tecnología móvil más grande del mundo. Tal como anunció Clarion Gaming ayer, será la nueva sede de la feria ICE London.
Conectividad
Diseñado por el reconocido arquitecto Toyo Ito, laureado con el Premio Pritzker de Arquitectura, el recinto se encuentra en una nueva área de desarrollo empresarial entre Barcelona y L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. Su ubicación cercana al aeropuerto y su conexión con la red de transporte público, que incluye buses, metro y ferrocarril. Además cuenta con 4.580 plazas de aparcamiento y su propio helipuerto.
Consta de ocho pabellones que están interconectados mediante una pasarela para facilitar la circulación de los visitantes. Estos cuentan con avanzadas prestaciones técnicas y logísticas para garantizar el éxito de los eventos que se llevan a cabo allí.

La Fira de Gran Vía se caracteriza también por su sostenibilidad: tiene uno de los mayores parques fotovoltaicos construido sobre cubierta en la región, con 26.000 paneles solares instalados.
El recinto de Gran Vía también incluye espacios para actividades congresuales distribuidos en los diferentes pabellones. Entre ellos, se encuentra el Centro de Convenciones, ubicado en el pabellón 8, un espacio versátil y modular con capacidad para albergar entre 3.000 y 12.000 personas.
Ampliación antes de 2024
Se tiene prevista una ampliación antes de 2024 que consistirá en la construcción de un nuevo edificio de dos plantas con una superficie de 60.000 m², junto con una edificación destinada a oficinas y servicios que estará conectada al conjunto del recinto mediante un paso elevado, manteniendo la continuidad con la pasarela que enlaza todos los pabellones.

Details about Fira Barcelona Gran Via, the venue for ICE London 2025
The Gran Via venue is one of the largest and most modern fairgrounds in Europe. With 240,000 m² of exhibition space and its own heliport, it will host the historic London fair in 2025.
The site is known for its innovative design, functionality, and for being the venue of the Mobile World Congress, the world’s largest mobile technology fair.
Connectivity
Designed by renowned architect Toyo Ito, who was awarded the Pritzker Architecture Prize, the venue is located in a new business development area between Barcelona and L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. Its proximity to the airport and its connection to the public transportation network, including buses, metro, and trains, make it easily accessible. Additionally, it offers 4,580 parking spaces and has its own heliport.
The venue consists of eight interconnected pavilions to facilitate the circulation of visitors. These pavilions have advanced technical and logistical features to ensure the success of the events held there.
Fira Barcelona Gran Via is also characterized by its sustainability: it has one of the largest photovoltaic parks built on the roof in the region, with 26,000 installed solar panels.
The Gran Via venue also includes spaces for congress activities distributed among the different pavilions. Among them, the Convention Center is located in Pavilion 8, a versatile and modular space with a capacity to accommodate between 3,000 and 12,000 people.
Expansion before 2024
An expansion is planned before 2024, which will consist of building a new two-story building with an area of 60,000 m², along with an office and services building that will be connected to the entire venue through an elevated walkway, maintaining continuity with the interconnecting walkway that links all the pavilions.
