Clarion Gaming ha subrayado su compromiso de organizar eventos en vivo que tengan un impacto ambiental positivo hoy y en el futuro.
Como novedad para 2026, Clarion Gaming presenta la iniciativa Better Stands y el premio al stand más sostenible, que forman parte de su compromiso con la sostenibilidad. Estas iniciativas están abiertas a los más de 700 expositores de ICE e iGB Affiliate Barcelona que estarán presentes en Fira Barcelona Gran Via del 19 al 21 de enero de 2026.
Para los más de 65.000 asistentes que se esperan en los eventos, Clarion ofrecerá ahora carteras para acreditaciones ecológicas.
La iniciativa Better Stands forma parte de un programa global diseñado para reducir los residuos en la industria ferial mediante el fomento del uso de stands reutilizables. Proporciona un marco para evaluar y certificar la sostenibilidad de los stands con niveles bronce, plata y oro, según el cumplimiento de criterios clave.
Como parte de los premios StandOut, los expositores también tendrán la oportunidad de recibir el galardón al stand más sostenible.
Para participar, los expositores deben estar en vías de obtener el certificado Oro de Better Stands. Asimismo, se les solicita que presenten una declaración de sostenibilidad que describa cómo su presencia demuestra prácticas sostenibles, como el uso de un diseño de stand sostenible, el método de transporte elegido para asistir a la(s) feria(s) y los compromisos con la reducción de residuos, como el uso de materiales digitales en lugar de impresos.
El equipo de sostenibilidad de Clarion Gaming revisará los stands participantes y acordará una lista corta de las tres mejores propuestas tanto para ICE como para iGB Affiliate; los stands ganadores se anunciarán el martes 23 de enero de 2026 .
Ampliando el amplio compromiso de Clarion Gaming con la construcción de un futuro sostenible, Margaret Dunn, Directora de Portafolio de Clarion Gaming, declaró: «Además de los Premios a Stands Sostenibles, llevamos a cabo una serie de iniciativas que buscan minimizar el impacto ambiental de nuestros eventos, como ofrecer por primera vez en ICE carteras ecológicas para las acreditaciones . Mediante estas iniciativas, pretendemos no solo promover la responsabilidad social y ambiental en la comunidad del juego, sino también formar parte del cambio».

Clarion Gaming announces new sustainability initiatives for ICE and iGB Affiliate Barcelona
Clarion Gaming has underscored its commitment to running live events that have a positive environmental impact today and for the future.
New for 2026 are the Better Stands Initiative and the most Sustainable Stand Award, which are part of Clarion Gaming’s sustainability journey. These are open to all the circa 700+ exhibitors at ICE and iGB Affiliate Barcelona who will be present at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via across 19th – 21st January 2026
For the 65,000+ attendees expected to visit the shows, Clarion will now be offering eco-friendly badge wallets.
The Better Stands Initiative is part of a global programme designed to reduce waste in the exhibition industry by encouraging the use of reusable exhibition stands. It provides a framework for assessing and certifying stand sustainability with bronze, silver, and gold levels based on meeting key criteria.
As part of the StandOut Awards, exhibitors will also have the opportunity to receive the accolade for the Most Sustainable Stand.
To apply, exhibitors must be on track to achieve a Gold Better Stands certificate. Exhibitors are also requested to submit a sustainability statement describing how their presence demonstrates sustainable practices such as the use of a sustainable stand design, their selected method of travel to the show(s), and the commitments to waste reduction such as the use of digital materials over print.
Clarion Gaming’s sustainability team will review participating stands and agree a shortlist of the leading three entries for both ICE and iGB Affiliate, with the winning stands announced on Tuesday 23rd January 2026.
