Paysafe anunció la finalización de su adquisición de SafetyPay. Para la plataforma de pagos, este último acuerdo fortalece aún más su posición estratégica en América Latina, basándose en la compra recientemente anunciada de PagoEfectivo en Perú.
Juntas, las dos adquisiciones posicionaron a Paysafe como un importante proveedor de soluciones de banca abierta y eCash en América Latina, uno de los mercados en línea de más rápido crecimiento en el mundo. Con el cierre de la transacción, Paysafe gana más escala en el mercado de comercio electrónico latinoamericano de rápido crecimiento, donde los comerciantes y los consumidores muestran un interés cada vez mayor por usar soluciones eCash para realizar transacciones en línea.
Como parte de la compra, todo el equipo de SafetyPay ahora hace la transición al equipo de soluciones de banca abierta y eCash de Paysafe, que está dirigido por el CEO de Paysafe eCash, Udo Mueller. Reportando a Mueller, el CEO de SafetyPay, Gustavo Ruiz Moya, se convierte en CEO de eCash para América Latina y Global Head de Open Banking.

Together the two acquisitions set Paysafe up to be an important open banking and eCash solutions provider in Latin America, one of the world’s fastest-growing online markets. With the transaction closing, Paysafe gains further scale in the fast-growing Latin American eCommerce market, where merchants and consumers alike are showing an increasing appetite to use eCash solutions to transact online.
As part of the transaction, the entire SafetyPay team now transitions into Paysafe’s eCash and open banking solutions team, which is headed up by Paysafe eCash CEO, Udo Mueller. Reporting into Mueller, SafetyPay’s CEO, Gustavo Ruiz Moya, becomes CEO, eCash for Latin America and Global Head of Open Banking.
