SBC Summit se ha asociado con BettingStartups para reforzar su apoyo a las empresas de apuestas y juegos en fase inicial, y esta colaboración abarca tanto el Startup Hub como el concurso SBC First Pitch.
Como parte de esta colaboración, BettingStartups será la sede oficial del Startup Hub en SBC Summit 2026, que tendrá lugar del 29 de septiembre al 1 de octubre en la Feira Internacional de Lisboa y el MEO Arena.
Ubicado entre los pabellones 1 y 2, el Startup Hub contará con un área de exposición y una sala de networking exclusivas, que proporcionarán a los fundadores un espacio específico para mostrar sus negocios y conectar con inversores, operadores, socios comerciales y representantes de los medios de comunicación.
Reconocida como un actor clave en el ecosistema de juegos en fase inicial, BettingStartups se ha labrado una sólida reputación apoyando a los fundadores a través de su plataforma multimedia, podcast, boletín informativo, eventos y brazo inversor. Gracias a esta red, la alianza reunirá a un selecto grupo de startups de alta calidad en el evento, brindando a los asistentes la oportunidad de descubrir e interactuar con la próxima generación de empresas innovadoras que están transformando la industria.
La colaboración también se extenderá al escenario Product Innovation Showcase el jueves 1 de octubre, dedicado a descubrir la próxima gran startup de iGaming. Ese día, el escenario estará reservado exclusivamente para startups, brindando a los fundadores la oportunidad de presentar nuevos productos, tecnologías e ideas de negocio a operadores, inversores y otros responsables de la toma de decisiones del sector, culminando con la competición SBC First Pitch.
Presentado por Jesse Learmonth (fundador de BettingStartups), First Pitch contará con la participación de cinco startups seleccionadas que presentarán sus negocios en directo ante un panel de inversores experimentados y ejecutivos del sector.
Cada finalista dispondrá de tres minutos para presentar su proyecto, seguidos de una sesión de preguntas y respuestas de tres minutos con el jurado. El ganador recibirá un paquete de premios valorado en más de 80.000 €, que incluye servicios y recursos diseñados para apoyar la siguiente etapa de su desarrollo.

SBC Summit Strengthens Startup Focus with BettingStartups Collaboration
SBC Summit has partnered with BettingStartups to strengthen its support for early-stage betting and gaming companies, with the collaboration spanning both the Startup Hub and the SBC First Pitch competition.
As part of the partnership, BettingStartups will serve as the official host of the Startup Hub at SBC Summit 2026, taking place from 29 September to 1 October at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa and MEO Arena.
Located between Halls 1 and 2, the Startup Hub will feature a dedicated exhibition area and networking lounge, providing founders with a focused space to showcase their businesses and connect with investors, operators, commercial partners and media representatives.
Known as a key player in the early-stage gaming ecosystem, BettingStartups has built a reputation for supporting founders through its media platform, podcast, newsletter, events, and investment arm. By tapping into this network, the partnership will bring a curated group of high-quality startups to the event, giving attendees the chance to discover and engage with the next wave of innovative companies shaping the industry.
The collaboration will also extend to the Product Innovation Showcase Stage on Thursday, 1 October, dedicated to uncovering the next big startup in iGaming. The stage will be reserved exclusively for startups that day, giving founders the chance to present new products, technologies and business ideas to operators, investors, and other industry decision-makers, culminating in the SBC First Pitch competition.
Hosted by Jesse Learmonth (Founder, BettingStartups), First Pitch will see five selected startups present their businesses live to a panel of experienced investors and industry executives.
Each finalist will have three minutes to pitch, followed by a three-minute question-and-answer session with the judging panel. The winner will receive a prize package valued at more than €80,000, featuring services and resources designed to support the next stage of its development.
