A partir del 1 de abril de este año, Stefan Bruns encabezará el segmento de negocios de apuestas deportivas y juegos en línea como nuevo miembro de la Junta Directiva del Grupo Gauselmann. Las tareas del puesto recién creado incluyen fortalecer la oferta de apuestas deportivas físicas y en línea, la expansión estratégica de los juegos de tragamonedas virtuales y avanzar en la internacionalización de estas dos áreas de actividad.

Stefan Bruns estudió Economía en la Universidad de Osnabrück y se especializó en producción, marketing y sistemas de información para empresas. Comenzó su carrera en Gauselmann Group el 1 de abril de 2014. Después de ocupar varios puestos gerenciales, fue designado para la gerencia de la subsidiaria Merkur Casino en febrero de 2017.
“La atención se centrará en la expansión estratégica de las ofertas de apuestas deportivas en línea y terrestres, así como en la consolidación de todas las actividades de juegos en línea en todo el mundo. Stefan Bruns joins the Management Board of the Gauselmann Group
The executive will head up the sports betting and online gaming business segment and will be responsible for the internationalisation of these two areas of activity.
As of 1 April this year, Stefan Bruns will head up the sports betting and online gaming business segment as a new member of the Gauselmann Group Management Board. The tasks of the newly created position include strengthening the land-based and online sports betting offering, strategic expansion of virtual slot gaming and advancing the internationalisation of these two areas of activity.
“Sports betting and online gaming are promising prospective markets in which Bruns will further grow and strengthen our business activities. I wish him a lucky hand and every success in carrying out his important and responsible tasks,” explains Paul Gauselmann, Founder and Chairman of the Management Board of Gauselmann Group.
Stefan Bruns studied Economics at Osnabrück University, majoring in production, marketing and information systems for business. He started his career with the Gauselmann Group on 1 April 2014. After holding various management positions, he was appointed to the management of the fellow subsidiary Merkur Casino in February 2017.
“The focus will be on the strategic expansion of the online and land-based sports betting offerings as well as on consolidating all worldwide online gaming activities. Our goal is to create sustainable structures and products in order to consistently expand our market shares in the sports betting and online gaming markets and to successfully position the Merkur brand for the long term,” added Bruns.
